I can now
1. Recognize my great granny. I can greet her with a smile every time. I still dont smile back to my mommy or daddy :(
2. Respond to anyone with some noises when they talk to me. I do this only when I want to though, not all the time. It depends on how I feel at that time.

Daddy spoke to Ambarish kaka yesterday. He has a paediatrician friend (see- I can already spell 'paediatrician' despite being so young!) who told him that I am too young to really 'recognize' people like this. According to him, it is only a response to a particular sequence of events.
So daddy has decided to observe more closely now, if I can really recognize great-granny or do I only smikle when she does something in particular.
Ambarish kaka might know...his daughter Ridhi is 15 days older than me.
