A month later...

daddy writes:
He goes to school. Its not like he loves school but it is now a part of his schedule.

There have been at least 4-5 sick leaves but he was genuinely sick then, and once we did not send him as it was raining too heavily.

He is learning a lot of new things but he never tells us anything about it. We catch him singing some new songs by himself and then we know...if we ask him what he did at school, he says "Nothing".

He keeps forgetting to get his things back from school fairly often. Socks(they have to be removed when all kids are lined up for susu), Water-bottle, Raincoat, etc.
On more than two occasions so far school has sent him with changed clothes (they keep an extra set). There is also some evidence of some fighting, but all he says is "nothing" :) Guess it is a part of his growing up.

You must get him to talk about things he does at school...I don't know why but it is important

Yea I would second that, don't you think it is important to know whether the nothings could indeed be somethings?

But I am sure you guys will know how to handle the situation perfectly:)

Hey he is already behaving like a grown up boy haha

I third it (if there is anything like that). We are always looking forward to hearing about everything that goes on at school, but try telling him that :)

BTW, he has been singing this hindi prayer at home for 2 days now - I will try and send you guys an audio - he sings it very well!
