Doctormama pays a visit

Doctormama (remember? My first acquaintance with the outer world...even before I was introduced to my mommy) came to visit us yesterday. Mami and their daughter Juili came along too. They bought me 7 (yes, 7) dresses and a lot of other goodies!
They came from Mumbai enroute to a weekend in Mahableshwar.

I thought I will play a little shy so didnt play with them much. He's clicked a lot of pictures, hope he remembers to send them to me.

Unwell weekend

I have this very upset stomach for almost a week now. We had been to the doctor and she has given some medicines, but it still isnst any better :(

The doctor said it must be becoz of the things that I eat in the garden. I dont believe it...how can such tasty things cause any harm? and psst....daddy and mommy still dont know about all the other goodies that I have been eating in the garden..they think I only eat the grass and leaves...hee hee heee

my portrait

We had been to Mandar Kaka's house last evening to see their new Home Theater. It is fantastic.

Aaditi Tai drew my portrait while I was there. Mandar Kaka also taught her how to write 'Mihir'. Here is the portrait.

On the left is me, the writing on top is by Mandar Kaka and the 'Mihir' below it is by Aaditi Tai. Vive la art! (whatever that means)

Makar Sankranti & Bor Nhaan

Saturday was Makar Sankranti. Like last year, my grammy bought me a black dress.
She also got me new shoes which make a funny noise when I walk. I like to walk when I am wearing them.

On Sunday evening was Bor Nhaan. Preeti Atya and Jyoti Atya specially came to attend that. Athu dada and Maitrayee tai were there too.

For Bor Nhaan, they first dressed me up in the black dress. Grammy had got some jewelry made out of sugar beads - I wore that too. There was writsbands, arm-bands, a garland and even a flute!! There was a crown too, but I dont like anyone touching my head so I just tore it off when they put that on my head (smart guy daddy managed to click a picture before that even then).

They had also invited all my friends from the building - there was Priyavrat, Sai, Eisha (2 of them), Arnav, Sailee and Avanti. They all surrounded me and poured a mix of puffed rice, large berries and chocolates on my head. The other kids were expected to collect as many as chocolates/berries as they could. I focussed on the puffed rice, I just love that.

See how much I have changed since the Makar Sankranti last year.

PS: Karishma maushi wants to be like me. She can borrow my tiger dress for a day if she wants...

the artist has arrived

I found a pen somewhere this morning and I used it to draw up some stuff on the wall.
Daddy was a little surprised, he did'nt know I could draw.

I'm only focussing on random lines for now, I wanna practice before I start drawing more serious stuff.

the walky talky

Mihir started walking 4-5 steps from Jan 1. He walks and says 'chaal chaal' on his own while he walks.

He has also started speaking one word 'burdday'. Problem is, he uses it for everything. He gets very angry when he tries to say something that we dont understand.

Last night when grammy was putting him to sleep, he wanted her to remove her specs (for whatever reason). He kept saying 'burdday' and crying for half an hour. We kept bringing toys, singing, dancng, playing football but no use. Finally it was over when gramma just happened to remove her specs. He was happy after that :)
