7 months old !!

I am 7 months old now. I can say 'ta-ta and da-da' and I say it whenever I want. I can recognize my mommy, daddy and grammy and grampa. I feel very happy when I see grammy and daddy come back from work - I just jump at them and make gleeful noises.
I can also squeal with delight. And I can move ahead much faster now, though it still cannot be technically called 'crawling'.

I have been unwell over the weekend though...lots of cold and nose blocking. the weather is very bad out here, the rain just does not stop. We did not go out anywhere for the same reason. Daddy went out Sunday evening and got me two new toys to cheer me up.

Preeti Atya, Ajay Kaka and Athu dada came to visit me in the evening.

Travel Weekend

Over the weekend, we went on a trip to Ganpatipule - it is a beach resort about 300 miles away from my home. It was fun. We went to the temple and then to the beach. I slept thru most of the journey.

On tuesday, we finally got the consignment that Sheu maushi had sent for me (after almost a month). It is a HUGE collection of clothes (all lovely ones) and also a ball for me to play with! We called Sheu Maushi to thank her for the lovely gift adn I even made some noises on the phone for her.

Yesterday was Athu dada's birthday so we went to his house in the evening. We sang 'Happy Birthday to you' and I even got to lick some cake :)

Trip to Lonavla

Yesterday, daddy, mommy and I went to Lonavla. It is a beautiful hill station about 45 miles from our house. We went there to meet Anu Maushi who had come there on a trip with her friends and also to have some fun ourselves. We took some pictures there (see my snap with the sunglasses).

We first went to the resort where Anu maushi was put up. All her friends liked me and I smiled at each one of them. After spending some time with her, we drove out to have lunch but we got stuck in a traffic jam for about an hour, where traffic was moving fwd at snail's pace. We then decided to eat a place closer by as the jam did not show any signs of getting unjammed (!). I chewed at mommy's purse until they both ate and I did not trouble them at all.

After returning home I played till the evening and then went to sleep at 7, only to wake up this morning:)

grampa's birthday

Today is my grampa's birthday. He completed 62 years today. Early in the morning, I woke up and went to wish him a Happy Brthday. Daddy had bought a cake and he gave it to me to cut. I also got to lick some cake and I liked it very much.

I wanted to make him a card myself, but I am too tempted to eat paper when I see, so I never get around to writing/drawing anything yet.

my first fall

I rolled off the bed last afternoon, while I was asleep. Mommy was on the phone, in the other room. It did not really hurt much, I only cried for a short while. Mommy was inconsolable, however and cried much more than I did.

We went to the doctor in the evening and she said I am all fine.

6 months old!!

I turned 6 months old yesterday. Daddy came home early from office and we also went to Preeti Atya's place. Athu dada was home that day as he had some holiday. We had fun.

My Pune aaji has bought me a brand new chair and I just love it! Mommy-Daddy did not get me anything new, but thats ok. I know Sheu maushi is sending me a lot of goodies from the US...

PS: ketaki Maushi, daddy still has'nt taken a picture of me with anu maushi's sunglasses...he is just too busy :( But I will make him to do it this week itself and I will post that pic soon.
